<br />RESOLUTION NO. 4669 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE USER CATEGORIES TO <br />DETERMINE HUL T CENTER RENT AL RATES AS DEFINED <br />IN RESOLUTION NOS. 3442, 3475, 3800, 4017, 4034 AND 4454. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. The Council has previously defined what constitutes "Local Non-Commercial <br /> <br />Performing Arts Organizations," "Local Independent Professional Artists," "Resident Companies" <br /> <br />and "Commercial" as user categories for the Hult Center in Resolution Nos. 3442, 3475, 3800,4017, <br /> <br />4034 and 4454. <br /> <br />B. The residency requirements for "Resident Companies" were amended by Resolution <br /> <br />No. 4454, which also provided that further designation or removal of status would be by <br /> <br />Administrative Order of the City Manager. <br /> <br />C. The City's Cultural Services Division staff has recommended that the categories of <br /> <br />users be amended and redefined to more accurately meet the current needs of the community. A <br /> <br />copy of those categories and definitions are attached hereto as Exhibits A and B. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br /> <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein by reference <br /> <br />and adopted, the City Council of the City of Eugene amends the user categories used to determine <br /> <br />Hult Center rental rates as set forth in Exhibits A and B attached hereto. <br /> <br />Resolution - 1 <br />
