<br />RESOLUTION NO. 4699 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER <br />PROPOSED WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORIES (COREY, EC EU 01-06; <br />CHRISTIAN, EC EU 01-07; DICKENSON, EC EU 01-12; ENSLEY, EC EU 01- <br />15; TIBBITTS/GILDEA, EC EU 01-20; COMMUNITY MARKETS, INC., EC <br />EU 01-21; SMITH, EC EU 01-35; SHIELDS, EC EU 01-34; ZABEL, EC EU 01- <br />29; O'BRYANT, EC EU 01-42) FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER <br />DISTRICT AND RIVER ROAD PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT; <br />PROPOSED WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORIES (HOMOLKA, C EU 01-16; <br />SCOTT, EC EU 01-22; MUSTOE, EC EU 01-19; KELEHER, C EU 01-33; <br />HIGGINS, C EU 01-40) FROM THE SANTA CLARA WATER DISTRICT; <br />AND PROPOSED WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORIES (R & B EQUIPMENT <br />COMPANY, C EU 92-2) FROM THE JUNCTION CITY WATER CONTROL <br />DISTRICT. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. The Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission by its Notice dated <br />March 13,2001, advised that pursuant to ORS 199.466 and ORS 199.519, the following described <br />real property was annexed to the City of Eugene, effective February 23,2001. <br /> <br />Tax Lot 2100, Assessor's Map 17-04-14-14, located in the River <br />Road region of north Eugene, west of River Road, south of Silver <br />Lane, north of Kourt Drive, east of Grove Street, and more <br />particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference. (Corey, EC ED 01-06) <br /> <br />That property is contained in and is a part of the River Road Water District and River Road <br />Park and Recreation District. The City desires that the property so annexed be withdrawn from those <br />Districts and that the City assume proportionate liability for the part of the Districts so withdrawn. <br /> <br />B. The Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission by its Notice dated <br />March 14,2001, advised that pursuant to ORS 199.466 and ORS 199.519, the following described <br />real property was annexed to the City of Eugene, effective February 26,2001. <br /> <br />Tax Lots 100 and 200, Assessor's Map 17-04-24-21, located in the <br />River Road region of north Eugene, east of River Road, west of the <br />Willamette River, south of Merry Lane, north of Arbor Drive and <br />more particularly described on Exhibit B attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference.
