The TSP <br />supports employment in nodes by increasing access to <br />employment centers via foot, bike, and transit, and <br />promoting compatible transportation investments <br />along key corridors and in core commercial areas, <br />including downtown.Identified potential action items <br /> <br />regulating to encourage walking, biking, and use of <br />public transit and periodically reviewing parking needs <br />in the downtown, Federal Courthouse, and riverfront <br />districts and balance supply with other objectives, such <br />as economic vitality; support for transit, walking, and <br />biking; reduced consumption of fossil fuels; and <br />human-scaled urban form.
