Get next layer into discussion for <br />education and spread its concepts <br /> <br />-Clear pubic stated goal to rally energy around <br /> <br />Next meeting Council use their leadership to better educate the community <br /> <br />Link to other City initiatives - sustainability, professionalism, economic <br /> <br />Council do a better job of talking more in terms of racism and city initiatives <br /> <br />Develop group/commission whose focus would be to take things from meetings like this <br />and watch progress - maybe Human Rights Commission. Could be a separate group or <br />subset. <br />Next Steps <br />1. Expand conversation to include education…City Council speak with business <br />community. <br />2. Subcommittee of HRC or separate committee <br />3. Safe space <br />4. Cultural center <br />5. Bringing younger generation to the table <br />6.
