having charge or control of the building or premises and request entry. No person <br />shall deny a request for, or interfere or prevent any inspection authorized by this <br />section. Should entry be refused, the Fire Marshal shall have recourse to every <br />remedy provided by law to secure entry, including obtaining a search warrant. <br />6.10.2. Findings. If the Fire Marshal finds violations, the Fire Marshal <br />shall provide written notice of the violations as provided in section R -8.005-C-1, <br />and may take any enforcement action authorized by law. <br />6.10.3. Investigation of Fire. The Fire Marshal shall investigate the cause, <br />origin and circumstances of each fire occurring within the jurisdiction of the City. <br />The Fire Marshal's investigation shall begin immediately after the occurrence of <br />the fire and shall include all inquiries necessary to determine if the fire was the <br />result of carelessness or design. <br />6.10.3.1. The Fire Marshal may enter upon and examine any <br />building or premises wherein fire has occurred, and other buildings or <br />premises adjoining or near the same. <br />6.10.3.2. The Fire Marshal shall take or shall have taken the <br />statements of all persons supposed to be cognizant of any facts or who have <br />means of knowledge in relation to the cause, origin and circumstances of <br />any fire then under investigation if, in the opinion of the Fire Marshal, such <br />statements are necessary to the investigation. <br />6.10.3.3. The Fire Marshal shall have and may exercise such <br />additional authority to carry out inspections as provided in state law <br />including but not limited to ORS 476.070, 476.150, 476.210 and 476.230. <br />7. Special Inspections. <br />7.1 General. In addition to the inspections authorized by Subsection R -8.005- <br />B-6. above, the owner or the engineer or architect of record acting as the owner's agent <br />shall employ one or more special inspectors who shall provide inspections during <br />construction on the following types of work: <br />7.1.1. Concrete: During the taking of test specimens and placing of <br />reinforced concrete and pneumatically placed concrete. <br />Exceptions: <br />7.1.1.1. Concrete for foundations conforming to the minimum <br />requirements of Table No. 29-A of the Building Code or for Group R, <br />Division 3 or Group M, Division 1 Occupancies, provided the Building <br />Official finds that a special hazard does not exist. <br />Administrative Order - Page 24 of 40 <br />
