10.3.5. A statement that the described portion of the building has been <br />inspected for compliance with the requirements of these regulations and applicable <br />technical codes for the group and division of occupancy and the use for which the <br />proposed occupancy is classified. <br />10.3.6. The name of the Building Official. <br />10.4 Temporary Certificate. If the Building Official finds that no substantial <br />hazard will result from occupancy of any building or portion thereof before the same is <br />completed, the Building Official may issue a temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the <br />use of a portion or portions of a building or structure prior to the completion of the entire <br />building or structure. <br />10.5 Posting. The Certificate of Occupancy shall be posted in a conspicuous <br />place on the premises. No person shall remove, deface, or tamper with any notice or order <br />posted upon a building pursuant to these regulations, unless first authorized by the Building <br />Official. <br />10.6 Revocation. The Building Official may, in writing, suspend or revoke a <br />certificate of occupancy issued under the provisions of these regulations and the <br />administrative code whenever the certificate is issued in error, or on the basis of incorrect <br />information supplied, or when it is determined that the building or structure or portion <br />thereof is in violation of any code, ordinance or regulation. <br />10.7 Statement Required. No permit shall be issued, the application for which <br />does not contain, or is not accompanied by, a written statement signed by the applicant <br />specifying the use or occupancy for which the proposed structure or alteration is designed <br />or intended to be used. <br />10.8 Records to be Kept. A record of all statements or certificates shall be kept <br />on file in the office of the Building Official. A copy of the statement or certificate shall be <br />issued upon request. <br />10.9 Transfer of Ownership. <br />10.9.1. Outstandine Code Violations. No owner of a building or premises <br />or person in charge of property, upon whom any permit, notice, or order pursuant <br />to these regulations has been given in connection with the property shall sell, <br />transfer, or grant such property to another until compliance with the provisions of <br />the permit, notice, or order has been secured; or until the owner or person in charge <br />of property shall have furnished to the purchaser, transferee, or grantee, prior to <br />such sale, transfer, or grant, a true copy of the permit, notice, or order, and at the <br />same time have given adequate notice to the Building Official of his/her intent to <br />sell, transfer, or grant, and supplied the Building Official with the name and address <br />of the person to whom the sale, transfer, or grant is proposed.
