ACTION: An Ordinance Removing the Sunset Dates of the Rest Stop and Dusk -to -Dawn Programs <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to adopt Council Bill <br />5168, an ordinance removing the sunset dates of the rest stop and Dusk -to -Dawn programs. <br />PASSED 8:0 <br />Council discussion: <br />• An additional a work session to discuss expansion of these programs is needed. <br />• Rest stops have proven they are worthwhile and help many people. <br />• Neighborhood leaders for every area should work with rest stop organizers on siting. <br />S. Margaret Brye - Opposed to the ordinance on the prohibition of dogs; it criminalizes homelessness. <br />2.
