2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval April 11, 2005 <br /> <br /> Makes pesticide use reporting system permanent. Increases registration fee for pesticides. <br /> Requires State Department of Agriculture to expend portion of registration fees for purposes of <br /> implementing, administering and enforcing pesticide use reporting system. Changes date for <br /> SB 0290 3 Monitor commencing publication of annual report of pesticide use. 1/25 <br /> Allows removal of recyclable material from solid waste disposal receptacles under certain <br /> SB 0291 3 Oppose circumstances. 1/25 <br /> SB 0295 1 Oppose Modifies distribution of fines collected in traffic offense cases. 2/11 <br /> Allows person to turn without using signal when person is turning in required direction from lane <br /> SB 0296 3 Oppose that requires person to make turn. 2/17 <br /> Expands crime of invasion of personal privacy and redesignates it as invasion of personal privacy <br /> ~n second degree. Creates crime of invasion of personal privacy in first degree. Punishes by <br /> SB 0297 1 Support maximum of five years' imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both. 2/17 <br /> Prohibits facially neutral housing policy that adversely impacts disabled persons or other persons <br /> due to their race, color, sex, marital status, source of income, familial status, religion or national <br /> origin to greater extent than it adversely impacts persons generally. Prohibits discrimination <br /> against disabled persons or discrimination due to race, color, sex, marital status, source of <br /> ~ncome, familial status, religion or national origin by multiple listing service, real estate brokers' <br /> :organization or other service, organization or facility relating to business of selling or renting <br /> dwellings. Requires Commissioner of Bureau of Labor and Industries to investigate complaint of <br /> discrimination within 30 days of filing of complaint. Allows court trial for violation. Allows attorney <br /> fees. Imposes civil penalties. Reactivates property tax exemption for single-unit housing in <br /> distressed urban areas. Extends period during which applications for exemption may be made. <br /> Permits condominiums to be eligible for either single-unit or multiple-unit housing property tax <br /> SB 0299 2 Support exemption. Creates crime of housing intimidation. Punishes by maximum imprisonment of one yea 3/09 <br /> Establishes system to provide various types of compensation in specified instances when land <br /> use requirement reduces fair market value of property. Establishes program for creation, <br /> ~urchase, sale, exchange or conveyance of transferable development credits. Imposes <br /> compensation and conservation taxes. Repeals Ballot Measure 37 (2004). Takes effect on <br /> effective date of constitutional amendment or revision that exempts taxes imposed under Act from <br /> SB 0308 2 Oppose property tax limitations in Oregon Constitution. 3/17 <br /> Requires that Public Utility Commission issue amended certificate of authority to cooperative <br /> corporation or unincorporated association providing intrastate telecommunications services upon <br /> submission of revised service area map showing additional areas to be served by corporation or <br /> SB 0309 3 Oppose association. 1/25 <br /> <br /> <br />
