<br /> Meeting called to order at 7:30 o'clock P. M. by the Mayor.
<br /> As per the call, bids were opened for the improvement of the Amazon Slough
<br /> from Ghamber Street to a point 2500 feet North and West, of the beginning point

<br /> I; petition. After discussion, it was moved, second,ed, and carried, that such
<br /> :j prot~stsbe over-ruled, all voting aye, except Wa.shburn~, who voted nay. S~id
<br /> [I bids~ were then referred to the Street Committee for reporp, and such Commit ee
<br /> :j recommended the bid of Stien Bros. at $13,.133.30 for Warreni te-Bi tuli thic paving
<br /> I be accepted, which recommendation was, on motion, duly approved, and the Mayor '
<br /> land Recorder were authorized and directed to enter into a contract with such
<br /> I succe~sful bidder for such improvement work. " .
