<br />cottage, and also expressed the thought that the heat
<br />should. The Health Committee was direoted to oonfer
<br />to a solution of this problem.

<br />, Mayor Wilder reoommended that the room now oooupied by the income tax depart-
<br />ment be turned over to the Wate,r Board, the understanding being tha,t when this
<br />is, done the Water Board will pay the City a total rental of $150 per month, and
<br />that the income tax department be given the room now ocoupied by h~s. Ady's
<br />Chari ty work. That the Chase Company be employed to make the al te.rations of the
<br />heating system to provide heat for this room. On motion the reoommendation was
<br />adopted.

<br />The City Engineer reported unfavorable on the olaim of Andrew Holtan of
<br />$26.17 presented to th~ Counoil several months ago and reoently againoalled to
<br />their attention, and Chairman Reid of the Sewer Committee moved that the bill be
<br />disallowed. The ayes and nays were oalled, all oouncilmen voting aye,' nay, none;
<br />absent Washburne and Monroe. '

<br />The f inanoe Commi ttee reported the following bills for payment wi th the under-
<br />standing that the bill of Geo. H. Otton and the annual dues to the League of
<br />Municipalities be drawn and paid on January account.
