<br />margin 01' 231'(1 Avenue to the South margin of Reed Avenue, in the City of Eugene,
<br />Lane County, Oregon, was read the first time and laid over..

<br />Whereas it appears tha t the Records 01' Council proceedin.gs ,under dates 01'
<br />August 12th and 25th, September 9th and 23rd, October 14th and 28th, November
<br />12th and 25th, December 9th, 23rd, and 30th, January 13th and 27th, were duly
<br />read and approved at the ensueing regular meetings 01' the Common Council,
<br />And Whereas, it appears that a record of the approval of said minutes was no
<br />entered at the time of said approval, it is now therefore resolved that the
<br />Recorder anke due entry at this time in the minutes reciting that the minutes of
<br />the Council mee tings of said da tes were and are hereby duly approved.

<br />The following Resolutions opening streets were read, and a motion was made,
<br />seconded, and carried to adopt the same:

<br />
<br />In the Matter 01' the Opening of Almaden Street from Sixth ,Avenue to Eighth
<br />
<br />Avenue.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Common Council 01' the City of Eugene by resolution duly adopted
<br />February 27th, 1928, determined to open, layout, and establish Almaden Street
<br />from Sixth Avenue to Eighth Avenue in the City of Eugene, Oregon,
<br />And Whereas, the report and plat of the City Engineer for the opening of
<br />said street was duly made and filed and duly adopted by the City Council by
<br />Ordinance No. 6&62, passed and approved February 27th, 1928,
<br />And Whereas, the Viewers duly appointed by said Ordinance No. 6662 made and
<br />filed a report of their findings of benefits and damages to the property benefitted
<br />

<br />
<br />and the property damaged by the opening 01' said street,
<br />
<br />.
<br />And Whereas, due notice of the consideration of said report was given and
<br />
<br />thereafter said report was duly adopted by Ordinance No. 6778, passed and approve
<br />
<br />on April 9th, 1928,
<br />
<br />And Whereas, the damages ~d benefits as shown by sai,d. viewer's report were
<br />equal and exactly offset each other, except that the said viewers recommended that'
<br />a credit be given to Florence Stevens of $71.15 as the price 01' the sidewalk
<br />
<br />^
<br />assessed against that portion 01' h,er pro:perty lying within the hounds of said stre t
<br />
<br />opening, which said amount was duly credited as shown on Lien Docket Four, page
<br />
<br />Three Hundred and Seventeen, Ordinance No. 4176 of the Record of City Liens,
<br />And Whereas, the time for appeal from the acti on 0 l' said viewers and said
<br />
<br />"
<br />council in the opening 01' said street has long since expired, and no appeal has
<br />
<br />been taken therefrom,
<br />
<br />THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council 01' the City of Eugene that
<br />
<br />the following described property, being the property described in said Engineer's
<br />
<br />report and in said Viewer's report, towit:
