<br /> AND WHEREAS, the extensions for which the bonds were authorized have gone
<br /> forward, and the Water Board has expended large sums from other funds, and also

<br />I in wri ting to the Common Council of the C.L ty of Eugene, in the form of a resolution
<br /> adopted by the Eugene City Water Board July 14, 1930,

<br /> NOW THEREFORE, the Common Council of the City of Eugene do hereby determine

<br /> and declare, and it is hereby resolved by the City of Eugene that it is necessary
<br /> that an additional issue of $450,000 of said bonds shall be made, offered for sale I
<br /> and sold as follows; Sealed bids will be received by the City Recorder of the City
<br /> < of Eugene, Oregon, at his office in the City Hall of said City until August 11,
<br />i 1930, at the hour of 7:30 o'olook P. M. of said day, for the purohase of $450,000.0

<br /> Said bonds to be in denominations of not less than $100.00 and not more

<br />I than $1000.00, or as agreed with the purchaser. Interest to be not greater than
<br /> five per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, principal and interest payable at
<br /> I the office of the City Treasurer of the City of Eugene, or as may be agreed upon wi h
<br />II the Common Council. They shall be sold at not less than par and accrued interest.

<br />II They shall bear such date as the Mayor may designate and shall become due in accord
<br /> ance with the following schedule; provided if less than the entire ~nount are sold
<br /> they shall be prora ted from each maturi ty of the en tire schedule; and bidders are
<br /> requested to make two distinct bids, one for $300,000.00 and one for $450,000.00.
