The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered <br /> 78~6. <br /> An Ordinance vacating a part of the Dedicated Street or Road known as <br /> East Third Street, being within the Original Plat of Eugene, Oregon, was read the <br /> fi~st time, and passed its second and third readings by title by unanimous consent <br /> under suspension of the !'ale, and was ,placed on its final passage. The ayes and <br /> nays were called, all present voting aye, nay, none. The Ordinance was declared <br /> passed and numbered 7837. <br /> Mr. Parker, representing the Westinghouse Electric people, submitted to th <br /> Co~cil an estimated cost for boundary. approach and obstruction lights for the <br /> municipal Air Port not including landing lights at an estimated cost of $5575.00. <br /> Mr~ Parker explained that this was hot intended as a bid, but merely as an indica- <br /> bion to the City of what they might expect as an approximate cost of proper light- <br /> ing.
