The Ordinance was declared <br /> passed and numbered 7985. <br /> An Ordinance to construct a sewer on the North side of 13th Avenue from the <br /> West line of Qlive Street to a point 167 feet East of the East line of Charn.elto~ <br /> street, in the City of Eugene, was read and passed its second and third readings <br /> by unanimous consent under suspension of the rule and was placed upon its final <br /> passage. The ayes and nays were called, all present voting aye, nay, none, absent <br /> Monroe. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 7986. <br />. An Ordinance approving and adopting the plans and specifications of the City <br /> Engineer for the improvement of the North side of 13th Avenue from the West line <br /> of Olive Street to a point 167 feet East of the East l.i.ne of Charnelton Street, by <br /> constructing a sewer thereon was read, and passed its second and third readings <br /> by unanimous consent under suspension of the rule and was placed upon its final' <br /> passage. The ayes and nays were called, all present voting aye, nay, none, absent <br /> Monroe. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 7987. <br /> Mayor Wilder appointed G. D. Farmer to the position of Park Superintendant, <br /> commencing January 1st at a salary of $125.00 per month, and a motion was made <br /> and seconded that the appointment be confirmed by the Council and that Mr. Farmer <br /> be placed on the regular payroll at $125.00 per month, his salary to be drawn <br /> at the time all regular salaries are drawn. The ayes and nays were called, all <br /> present voting aye, nay, none, absent Monroe. <br /> City Engineer Clubb submitted plans for the straightening of Taylor Street, <br /> and 'the matter was referred back to Mr. ,Clubb and City Attorney to prepare an <br /> ordinance, carrying out the suggestions. of Mr. Clubb~ <br />I Motion was made, seconded, and carried that the Council adjourn to meet <br /> on December 26th, 1930, at 7:30 o'clock P.
