M., 1~y 11, 1931. Gouncil was called to order by Mayor H. E. <br />Wilder, wi th all Councilme,n presen t except Hendershott and Reid. <br /> <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of April 13, 1931, and of the adjourned <br />meeting of April 27, 1931, were read and approved. - <br /> <br />Mr. Linus Lindley appeared before the Council with a complaint that the <br />Eugene Sand and Gravel Company was cutting down trees and otherwise, injuring <br />two parks in Riverwood dedicated to the public but ~ying North of the City Limits. <br />After some consideration the matter was referred to the Judiciary Oommittee. <br /> <br />At this time ,Councilman Reid appeared in Council. <br /> <br />Attorney E. O. Immel appeared before the Council in the matter of the <br />parking of Taxi Cabs on Willamette Street, and the matter was continued in the <br />hands of the Police Coromi ttee for conference wi th the Attorney ,and Olien ts. <br /> <br />Chairman Large of the Finance Commi ttee recommended the purchase from <br />Ferris and .Hardgrove of one $1000.00 'City Hall Bond at a price of 4.30 out of the <br />City Hall Sinking Fund. On motion the recommendation was adopted. <br /> <br />Chairman Large of the rinance .Committee also recommended for payment the <br />following bills.
