M. on ;'- , <br /> ~;,; <br /> Monday t December 12th, 1932, at which time and place all persons interested will <br /> be heat'd upon the question as to whether or not the building located on the East <br /> 100 feet of'Lot 5, Blocle 5 of Shelton's First Addition to Eugenet Lane CountYt <br /> Oregon, is a dangerous building under the provisions of Ordinance No. 8292, and <br /> as a part of said heat'ing the Common Council itself shall inspect said buildings <br /> and such inspection shall be considered by it in determining whether or not said <br /> . building is dahgerous. <br /> Be it Further J;iesolved that the City Recorder be and he is hereby direct <br /> ~d to forthwith mail to Edward I. Bloom at Chicago, Illinois, and to W. B. Dillardt <br /> County alerk of Lane 00unty, Oregont owner, notice of the time and place and <br /> purpose of said hearing, and that at said time and place this Council shall <br /> c <br /> determine by resolution whether or not said building is dangerous. In addi ti on <br /> theretot the City Recorder shall give ten days notice of such hearing in the <br /> Morning Newst a newspaper pUblished in Eugene, Lane CountYt Oregont and by post- <br /> ing notices thereof in three public places in said City of Eugene. t~ <br /> I An Ordinance providing for the construction of a cement sidewalk .on the <br /> -East side of W111amette Street between 13th and 14th Avenues on property assessed <br /> to the Medical Dental Building Co., L. M. Watson, and the Booth Kelly Lumber <br /> Company was read the first timet and passed its second and third readings by title <br /> by unanimous consent under suspension of the rulet and was placed on its final <br /> passage. The ayes and nays were called, all Councilmen voting aye, n~, none. <br /> The ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8317. <br /> An Ordinance amending the dance hall 'ordinance was read the first time <br /> 'and .referred to the Police and Judiciary Committees and City Attorney. <br /> The request o~ Frank L. Ch~nbers to maintain Little Deady Hall as a <br /> <building on the rear of the lot at 8th and Willamette Streets was denied, as it <br /> would be in violation of the building code. <br /> City Engineer Clubb was instructed to' repair certain sidewalk defects <br /> in the same location at 8th and Willamette Streets. <br /> .
