Rugh to the Mayor protesting the present ~ <br /> procedure of the City in collection of assessments and interest and possible fore- <br /> closure of propel' tie s was read and placed on file(~. <br /> A recommendation of the Eugene Park Board to the Council setting over a portio <br /> of the Skinner's Butte Park to the Business and Professional Women, including the <br /> East wing of the COffifll'ili.nity house for their use over a periOd of five years was read <br /> and the Council being in doubt as to the exact property selected' and its effect on <br /> the use of the Park by the play ground activities, the proposal was referred to the <br /> Play Ground Commission to see if a satisfactory understanding can be reached. <br /> Councilman Hendershott moved that the Council assure the I\'Iayor that the City <br /> will t al<:e care of the expenses incurred in his traveling to Portland and elsewhere <br />.. in connection with the various relief programs necessitated in his position as <br /> chairman.
