After said recommendations were made, motion was made seconded and carried that the applications of J. L. Goss and H. S. Leeper be continued for report. On motion duly seconded and carried the Council a,pproved all of the applications recommended by the Police Committee except those continued. A communication from the Southern Pacific Company was read saying that they were preparing an easement agreement, insuring that the' fuiro.re use of 'the Rail- road's property at its Broadway crossing would not be adversely affected by the improvement and that the matter would go forward to completion and in conformity I with the Recorder's communication of February 13, 1934. I A communication from' O. E. Lewis of Bagley, Minnesota, offering for sale I land of H.E. Stevens, owner, immediately South of the City Airport was read and I the Recorder inst.ructed to advise him that the City was not interested in the tract. , II A letter of appreciation from the Oregon State Highway Commission, of the 'j' Resolution passed by the Council on February 13th, by Honorable Carl G.
