Quinn, at 311 North 2nd Street, Silverton, Oregon, the <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />owners of said property, notice of the time, place and purpose <br />of said hea~ing, and that at said time and place the Council <br />shall determine by resolution whether or not said building is <br />dange~ous. In addition thereto, the City Recorder shall give <br /> <br />ten days notice of such hearing in the Eugene Register Gua~d, <br /> <br />a newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and by <br />posting notices the~eof in three public places in said City of <br /> <br />Euge ne . <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Attorney, Chairman of the Health Committee, and the Chief of Police <br />filed repo~ts declaring that the buildings at 1976 Garden Avenue were dangerous, <br />and recommended to the City that they be condemned under O~dinance No. 8292. The <br />following Resolution was read and a motion made seconded and carried to adopt it: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Common Council <br />Of the City of Eugene, reports from the Police Committee, the <br /> <br />City Attorney and the Chai~man of the Health Committee, each <br /> <br />and all denouncing the buildings on that certain premises <br /> <br />designated as 1976 Garden Avenue in the City of Eugene, as a <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />dangerous building as defined in Ordinance No. 8292, and <br />recommending to the Common Council that the same be dismantled, <br />and tha t complaints have been made by a large number of <br /> <br />residents living around and near said building: <br /> <br />THEREFORE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C01n~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />OF EUGENE: That a public hearing is hereby called to be <br />held in the office of the City Recorder in the City Hall in <br />the City of Eugene, at 7:30 o'clock P.U. of Monday, the 9th <br />day of April, 1934, at which time and place all persons <br />interested will be heard upon the Question as to whether or not <br />the buildings locat~d at 1976 Garden Avenue in the City of <br /> <br />Eugene is dangerous unde~ the provisions of Ordinance No. 8292, <br /> <br />and as a part of said hearing the Co~non Council itself shall <br />inspect said building and such inspection shall be considered <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />by it in determining whether o~ not said building is dangerous. <br /> <br />....1 <br />
