And also a proposal authorizing the Common Council to issue and sell general obligation bonds to be designated as lIEugene Funding Bonds", for the purpose of retiring lawfully issued outstanding warrants bearing date prior to March 14, 1933, in the sum of $78,650.00. The following are the form and numbers in which the question .. will be submi tted to the electol's of the ci ty on the official II ballot: P.l:'oposed by resolution of the Cornman Council of the'City of Rugene, Oregon, and referred to the electors: REGULATE LAVJFUL BUSINESS:- I lIShall the Charter of the Ci ty. of Eugene, Oregon, be amended authorizing and empowering the Common Council, in addition to all other powers heretofore granted by the Charter, to license, regulate and control any lawfUl business in the City of 1ugene, and the right to exercise any and all police regulations concerning the public morals, public safety, public health and public convenience of the inhabitants of the Ci ty 0 f 1!.ut':e ne. VOTE YES OR NO 500 YES 501 NO Proposed by resolution of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, and referred to the electors: EUGENE FtJNDLNG BONDS:- "Shall the Common Council issue and sell general obligation bonds designated lIEugene Funding nondsn, in the sum of $78;650.00 for the purpose of retiring I. lawfully issued outstanding warrants dated prior to March 14, 1933, pursuant to Chapter 401, Oregon Laws for 1933."
