<br />i Chairman Lamb, of the Street Committee, reported that the Street Committee
<br />Ji had taken an option from Marie and W. J. Williams for the purchase of a tract of
<br />I' land at the co mer of 3rd and Lincoln, immediately South of the present ci ty shop,
<br />I of approximately 66 x 138 fee t; and a small strip 6 feet wide leading back North .
<br />I from the Southern Pacific Right-of-way, and a s~all tract 150 feet North of said '
<br />I right-of-way, at a price of $1250.00, of which $5.00 was paid for the option
<br />I' agreement. It being the understanding that the vendors ~ill furnish title insur-
<br />ance for which they will pay half of the COJBt and the city half. Chairman Lamb
<br />I moved that the City purchase said tract, and that the Recorder be authorized to
<br />Ii draw a warrant on the General fund in payment fo r the same, to be delivered upon
<br />I receipt of the Deed and insurance title to the property. The motion was seconded,
