<br />~348 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion duly seconded and carried, the Recorder was, authorized to buy <br />three Korstad Directories. <br /> <br />~ <br />., ';"~,.,... <br /> <br />Attorney Calkins discussed a proposed ordinance excluding certain territory <br />from Ordinance No. g3gg, and it was ordered tabled. <br /> <br />City Attorney Calkins presented a proposed zoning ordinance whibh had been <br />prepared and presented by the City Planning Commission. Motion was made and <br />seconded that the Ordinance be read in full. The ayes and nays were called, <br />Councilmen voting aye g, nay none, absent none. An Ordinance to create or divide <br />the City into Districts within some of which it shall be lawful, and within others <br />of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carryon certain trades or callings, or within which the height <br />and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, <br />and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof, was read the first time <br />and laid over, at which time a public hearing was called for the, next, regular <br />Council meeting night. <br /> <br />The Police Committee was ordered to enforce the Ordinance concerning the <br />placing of signs on parkings. / . <br /> <br />The City Engineer's Office was ordered to see that all abandoned cuts in <br />sidewalks were brought back to normal. <br /> <br />Councilman Hendershott int~~duced Mr. Thompson and Mr~ Privot, Councilmen <br />from Springfield, who exterided an invitation for a return visit.
