Chairman Bond pointed out the <br />probability of discontinuing the electric heaters in the Fire Department, and the <br />purchasing of a ,wood stove for those quarters. If and when this change is made the <br />purchase price of the stove is to come from the fuel account: <br /> <br />The Health Committee,_by Councilman Harris, in the absence of 9hairman <br />Zumwalt, asked for more time on additional licensing. <br /> <br />The Police Committee, by Chairman Simon, recommended the approving of a <br />liquor license to H. R. Taylor, 894 E. 13th Ave., and moved that this license ge <br />approved. Motion was seconded and. carried. ' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Dr. Simon also presented the application of Lee Martin for liq~or license, <br />and the same was ordered laid on the table. <br /> <br />The application<of Richard C. Wynkoop for a liquor license at 47 West 8th <br />Ave. was presented, and the Committee asked that this be held up for further <br />inves tiga ti on. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Dr. Simon presented the application of R. W. Bell for a wine license for <br />his grocery store at 34 E. lOth, and asked that the Committee be given further <br />time with the power to act. (This application was later approved by the Committee) <br /> <br />Rep~rts.for the ~bnt~ o~ Februa~y from the Poliqe -Department, Fire Depart- <br />ment, Publ~c Llbrary, Clty ~nglneer, Milk Inspector, and the January and February <br />reports of the Police Matron were ordered filed. . <br /> <br />.....1 <br /> <br />.' <br />
