An Ordinance to improve Willamette Street between 15th and 16th Avenues, by I constructing a curb and repairing the pavement, in front of the West 90 feet of 11 II Lot 1, Block 1, Snodgrass Addition to Eugene, Oregon, said property being owned~ II by Charles N. Allen and Margaret Allen, was read the first time and passed its II se~ond and third readings by title under suspension of the rule by the unanimous Ii cQpsent of the Council, and was placed upon its final passage. Allen and Margaret Allen, in the City of Eugene, Oregon by directing the City Recorder to advertise for bids for the construction of said I improvement in accordance with such plans and specifications, and notifying I I property owners when and where the bids therefor will be mpened and cons~dered, . The City Attorney reported that the following buildings on which condemnation I proceedings have been started are to be t2rn down by the owners or ones in charge of the property in the near future~ 245 Madison Street, Seavers Furniture I Hospital, and Frasier property on the millrace. A letter was read from Mayor J. H. Miller of Junction City inviting represent- atives of the City of Eugene to attend their Jubilee to be held August 16th to celebrate the last of the city's indebtedness.
