M. in that block. <br /> This request was not granted. <br /> Councilman Bond reported on the proposition of the plant and shops for the <br /> Street Department. The United States National Bank leaves their price at <br /> $8,000.00. They will take $4,500.00 in cash, will accept $1,500.00 in property, <br /> and will give approximately one year to pay the balance of $2,.000.00. The <br /> Recorder pointed out to the Council that Councilman Carlson had talked to a <br /> member of the Water Board and the impression gained was that if the Water Board <br /> had plenty of space in their plant and maintenance shop that it was possible for <br /> the 9ity and Water Board to come to an agreement on the Uoint use of the same. <br /> Councilman Bond moved and the motion seconded that a committee be appointed to <br /> contact the Water Board on the subject. <br /> I Councilman Simon reported that he had received many complaints on the. <br /> conditions existing at the wrestling matches, and after discussion among the <br /> Councilmen it was decided that they would have to have more definite complaints, <br /> and they would have to investigate more closely themselves. <br /> On motion the Council adjourned. <br /> C. .M.
