4.2.1.3.7 The City Manager has approved the method <br />(if any) by which permittee reserves the cafd seating for the <br />exclusive use of its customers; <br />4.2.1.4 The activity is an activity, event or performance for which <br />admission is charged, and is conducted in that part of the Downtown <br />Activity Zone which the City Manager determines will best serve the <br />purposes of the Downtown Activity Zone pursuant to EC 4.870 and this <br />Rule; <br />4.2.1.5 Construction or demolition work on abutting private <br />premises; <br />4.2.1.6 Fund raising activities: <br />4.2.1.6.1 Shall be allowed only in designated locations <br />in the Broadway Plaza and Park Blocks where such location would <br />not impede pedestrian traffic, <br />4.2.1.6.2 Shall be limited to the sale of items for fund <br />raising purposes, providing: <br />4.2.1.6.2.1 Only non-profit organizations may <br />sell items for the purpose of fund raising within the <br />Downtown Activity Zone. Such fund raising activities shall <br />occur in designated locations and for designated periods of <br />time not to exceed 30 days, <br />4.2.1.6.2.2 The items sold for fund raising <br />purposes shall be limited to a single general category and <br />may not be a rummage sale, flea market or bake sale in <br />nature, and, <br />4.2.1.6.2.3 The City Manager has approved the <br />design of display racks and tables, the signage, and the <br />method of displaying merchandise; <br />4.2.1.7 No Downtown Activity Permit is required for street <br />entertainment. However, all street entertainment shall occur: <br />4.2.1.7.1 Only on sidewalks or in designated locations <br />in the Broadway Plaza or Park Blocks where such activity would not <br />impede pedestrian traffic, and where a Downtown Activity Permit <br />has not been issued, <br />Administrative Order - Page 25 of 29 <br />
