Brown, highest on t::1e list of eligibles of <br /> 36 Civil Service Applicants, had been appointed to fill the vacancy. <br /> / I <br /> ~ The request of the reserve officers to fix up the old assembly room in the <br /> city hall for target practice for groups interested in that type of activity, was <br /> 37 referred to the Police Committee. <br /> /" <br /> The City Recorder made a: personal request for permission to use the old <br /> assembly room in the city hall for meeting quarters of his scout troop #17, after <br /> 38 approval of the Health Committee upon sanitation facilities and it was so granted. <br /> / <br /> Report was received from the WPA showing in detail the use of the $50.00 I <br /> allowance made them by the common council for the month of September, 1937.
