<br />The minutes of the regular meeting of the Connnon Council held. at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
<br />P.M., March 14, 1938. Mayor Large called the meeting to order. Counci.lmen present were: Messrs.
<br />Lamb, Hendershott, Reid, Page, Hanns, Farrington, Bond and Carlson; abs,ent, none.

<br />The minutes of the previous meeting, February 28, 1938, were presented and ordered filed.
<br />
<br />Attorney William East addressed the council on behalf of his client, Norman D. Pohll,
<br />whose request for the reclassification of the property at the N. W. corner of the intersection of
<br />Oak and Thirteenth from the multi-family to a business zone, had been denied by the Board of Appeals
<br />Mr. East \\'8.S interrupted in the course of his conversation and advised that his client had withdra
<br />his reque!3t ~therefore the decision of -the Board of Appeals on the matter, was likewise withdra: .

<br />4 city AttorKey C-hlkins, having been called upon by Councilman Lamb, Chairman of the
<br />Judiciary Connnittee, to explain the City's position in regard to the r€!quest of Lane County Abstraot
<br />Company, stated that wi th the certificates signed by the City Treasurer certifying that the property
<br />was clear of liens, the city's position would not be very favorable in case the city determined to
<br />insist on collection. It was therefore his reoommendation that the lien dockets be corrected to
<br />show these olaims were all paid and said property clear of liens. The Judiciary Connnittee, recom-
