<br />~ <br />77 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />47 <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />/ 4a <br /> <br />/49 <br /> <br />50 <br /> <br />The following resolution to withdraw property from the registration re- <br />cords and change the same'back to the former or recording system of the state of <br />Oregon, was upon motion made ind duly seconded, adopted: <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />!~l <br />,~J <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ The City of Eugene desires to write title insurance on <br />Lots 2. 3. and 4, Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2; Lots'a. 9 and <br />10, Block 3; Lots 1, 3, 4, 5 and 8, Block 5; Lots 1, 2, 3 and 6, <br />Block 6, all in Pearl Addition to the City of Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon, and the property as it stands is in the registration or <br />Torrence system on the records, <br /> <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Common Council-of the City of Eugene that <br />the Mayor and Recorder be and they are hereby directed to make, <br />execute and deliver' an application to withdraw Lots 2, 3, and 4; <br />Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2; Lots a, 9, and 10, Block 3; Lots <br />1, 3, 4, 5 and B. Block 5; Lots 1, 2, 3, and 6, Block 6, all in <br />Pearl Addition to the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon from <br />the registration records and change the same back to the former <br />or recording system of the state of Oregon <br /> <br />The Recorder stated that Chief of Police Bergman had been taking care of <br />some of the relief work that Mrs. Richardson as police matron had been doing and had <br />no authority to draw on these funds and felt that he should be allowed to do this. <br />The matter was referred to the Police Committee to determine the action to be pursue . <br /> <br />The request from'the University of Oregon that the City contribute toward <br />the purchase of a plaque to be installed on the grounds of the university with,the <br />information that, this is the University of Oregon campus, was upon motion made and <br />seconded, ordered filed. It was revealed that the senior class wa~ to withstand <br />the expense of one and wished the city to contribute $50.00 for the purchase of the <br />other. <br /> <br />Upon motion made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />C.
