(2) Conduct. In addition to the other requirements of these Rules, Plot Use <br />Permit holders shall: <br />(a) Keep individual plots free from weeds and debris and in a planted, <br />productive state or cover -cropped or mulched as detailed in the Plot Use Permit <br />Terms and Conditions. <br />(b) Maintain plots in a working state by the spring deadline, and <br />winterize by the winter deadline as specified in the Plot Use Terms and Conditions. <br />(c) Not take produce, flowers or other materials from another plot <br />without permission. <br />(d) Drive vehicles in the garden only from May through September, and <br />then only to transport gardening produce, materials or supplies. All vehicles are <br />prohibited when soils are wet and soft. <br />(e) Not use registered pesticides within a Community Garden or within <br />25 feet of the outside perimeter of a Community Garden site. <br />(f) Not construct or erect permanent structures in the garden plots. <br />1.050 PETS. <br />(1) No pet shall be left unattended and unsupervised in a City park or open <br />space area. <br />(2) Except for seeing -eye dogs and other assist dogs, dogs are prohibited in park <br />and open space areas posted as no dog areas, picnic shelters and public restrooms. <br />(3) A dog brought into or kept in all other park and open space areas shall be <br />on a leash not more than 8 feet in length, or confined in a vehicle, and must be kept under control <br />at all times. <br />(4) No dog may deposit solid waste matter on a park or open space property <br />unless the dog's owner immediately removes the solid waste. <br />(5) A dog's owner is responsible for the dog's behavior at all times while the <br />dog is in the park or open space area. <br />(6) Authorized City employees may require a person in charge of an animal to <br />undertake any measure, including the removal of the animal from the park or open space area, <br />necessary to prevent interference by the animal with the safety, comfort, or well-being of park or <br />open space area visitors or resources. <br />Administrative Order -- Page 31 of 36 <br />
