<br /> same back to the former or recording system of the state of Oregon.

<br /> Resolution directing the Mayor and Recorder to enter into a contract on
<br />67 behalf of A.C. Mathews, was upon motion made and seconded, duly adopted:

<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Eugene has acquired the following described real
<br /> property, to.wit:
<br /> Lot 6 and the west half of Lot 7, Block 2, Harris Addition to~
<br /> Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Eugene has caused the same to be appraised
<br /> and determined its value, and
<br /> WHEREAS, A. C. Mathews has offered the ~lty $1800.00 for sa~d
<br /> property, which, accorqing to the appraisement, is all that the
<br /> property is worth,
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that
<br /> the Mayor and Recorder be and they are herBby directed t9 enter I
<br /> into the annexed contract' on behalf of the City of, Eugene, and
<br /> the $500.00 down payment and all subsequent payments shall be
<br /> deposited with the City Treasurer of said uity.
<br /> Resolution granting the Treasurer's Office the power to transact the neces-
<br /> sary steps to complete a property sale without further resolution or authorization

<br /> foreclosure and also by acquiring the same from Lane County In
<br /> order to protect their liens, and
<br /> WHEREAS, before any sale can be made by the city an appraisal
<br /> must be made and the FInance Committee must recommend the sale, and
