<br /> lease agreement on a month to month basis, such extension to terminate at the time

<br /> The proposed installation of an overhead flashing beacon at 6th and Blair
<br /> by the Oregon State Highway Commission was approved by the council. The council
<br /> also agreed to the installation of a new pole on the southwest corner and agreed
<br /> f~'7, to assume the $1.75 per month cost of electrical power to be consumed.
<br /> Canvaas of election returns for the Special Election held. In the City
<br /> of Eugene on November 8, 1938 was presented and the results were as follows: Sewage
<br /> Dl~posal: (Yes} 4535, (No) 22&9; Majority 230&. Extension Recorder and Treasurer's
<br /> Term of office: (Yes) 4794, (No) 1959; Majority 2835. Cost and Control of light
<br /> /2.8 and water facilities to Water Board, (Yes] 2467; (No) 5085; Majority" 2618.
<br /> The Police Committee recommended the transfer of Retail Beer Class B
<br /> License from(Weiss and Sharman) to H. H. Weiss and V. M. Hanks, the latter being
