Ziillmerman for a permit to convert the residence at 751 <br />Seventh Avenue West into a two-apartment house, was presented to the council in a <br />communicationfr'om the Board of Appeals. It was reported that this house is one <br />block outside the R-2 Zone but is so large that it is impossible to keep it rented; <br />it having stood vacant for the last seven months. It is the Board~s recommendation <br />that the request be granted provided there are no exterior changes except the in- <br />stallation of a new door and this recommendation was duly sustained by the council. <br /> <br />29 <br />/ <br /> <br />Blair T. Alderman's request on behalf of the Manville Brothers, owners, and <br />the Standard Oil Company of California, lessees, of the property on the southwest <br />corner of 11th and Olive, for a thirty-foot curb cut for a service station driveway <br />approach on both the Olive and Eleventh Street sides of the property, was referred <br />~O to the Street Committee with power to act. <br />\, <br /> <br />December's activity reports were received from the following departments: <br />Fire, Engineer, and Police, and were ordered placed on file.
