O'Neel and J.M. Hall Lots <br />7 and 8, Block 11, Hendrick's Amended Addition to Eugene, Lane <br />County, Oregon, at a purchase price of $1350.00 and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, J. M. Hall has assigned his interest in the contract to <br />Ramey W. Rugh and at this time Ramey W. Rugh and E.C. O~Neel and <br />Maxia L. O'Neel, husband and wife, have applied to the city that <br />a new cQntract be drawn from the city to E.C. O'Neel and Maxia <br />L. O'Neel, husband and wife, an undivided one-half interest, and <br />Ramey W. Rugh, a single person, an undivi.ded one-half interest" and <br />have computed the amount still due on the contract at $413.53 with <br />interest from February 4, 1939. <br /> <br />I' <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />\< <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />c..v" <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE I'l' RESOLVEID, that the Mayor and the Record,er. be and they are <br />hereby directed to execute the sUbsequent contract, a copy of which <br />is hereto. attached, and deliver the same to E.C. O'Neel and Maxia <br />L. O'Neel, husband and wife, and to Ramey W. Croner pi. ssed away on February 15, 1939" and <br /> <br />W~REAS, at the time of his departure he was and had been for <br />many years a trusted am,d faithful employee of the City of Eugene, <br />and was held in high regard and respect by all who knew him, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE it resolved by the Mayor and Common Council <br />of the City of Eugene that while we accept the decree of a <br />Supreme Power~ yet do we deplore the loss.of a valued employee~ <br />a citizen of.outstanding worth. <br /> <br />That we extend to his family our sincere sympathy and that this <br />resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and a copy <br />forwarded to the family of the depa~ted one. <br /> <br />Robert, A. Holland, highest in rank on the fire department <br />eligible list; was appointed by Mayor Large to fill the vacancy created by the <br />death of Dale Croner, effective March 15, 1939 at a salary of $100.00 per month. <br />;31 This appointment was duly confirmed by members of the council. <br /> <br />I Joe Harrell's request for more hangars at the airport was,re- <br />'I' ferred to the Finance Committee for consideration.
