Cochran to J. H. Honig, run West 160 feet; South 76 feet; East 160 feet to West line of Washington Street, Eugene, and North 76 feet to beginning. I o " was erroneously assessed in the amount of $422.47, and WHEREAS, it is now ascertained that said property is ten feet less than the footage upon which it was assessed, the City Treasurer is authorized to take from the District Improvement Fund the sum of $55.59 and refund the same to the Union Central Life Insurance Company. I A resolution was presented authorizing the City Treasurer to take from the II District Improvement Fund the sum of $8.42 and refund the same to the Union Central ~ Life Insurance Company to account for an erroneous assessment against certain 40' properties. The request was unanimously granted and the City Recorder instructed to include this request with the February 41 bills. City Eng~neer Clubb recommended granting the following curb cuts and motion was made and seconded unanimously approving the recommendations: No. 717 for 421Melvin Short"'at 1652 Olive Street and No. 723 for Ray Williams~ at 1170 West Broadwa . Discussion was called for concernin~ the Consumer's Co-op request for a cubb cut No. 722, held over from the previous council meeting. As there was no ydiscussion presented the former recommendation of the City Engineer to deny the 43 request was unanimously approved. After a short discussion, Councilman Hanns suggested that the Mayor appoint a committee to determine the advisability of the City's securing vacant lots to be used for parking lot purposes under the supervision of the City of Eugene.
