Gray and May Gray to erect a building up to the <br />property line of Eleventh Avenue East, with a provision that at any <br />time the City,of Eugene shall widen Eleventh Avenue East, that the <br />- building shall be dismantled back for seven feet, and that no damages <br />shall be claimed by said Charles E. Gray and May Gray, or their <br />successors in interest, except for the land taken. <br /> <br />A resolution was presented directing, the City Treasurer to set up a <br />Street and Bridge Department Hevolving Fund to which shall be charged moneys <br />expended for supplies and necessary equipment for the doing of small paving jobs <br />in the city and any receipts resulting from the doing of such work shall be <br />3'71credited into this fund. The resolution was unanimously approved. ' <br /> <br />RESOLUTI,gN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Eugene has the only paving plant available <br />for small jobs, which plant is operated by the Street and Bridge <br />Department of the city and is the only place in Eugene that small jobs <br />of paving can be procured and various persons make application to the <br />Street and Bridge Department of the city for the performance of srnall <br />paving jobs and other work of a similar character at a figure to be <br />determined on for each particular job. <br /> <br />Therefore, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council that the Treasurer be and <br />he is hereby directed to set up a Street and Bridge Department <br />Revolving Fund to which shall be charged moneys expended for supplies and <br />necessary equipment for the doing of small paving jobs in the city and <br />any receipts resul~ing from the doing of such work shall be credited <br />into this fund. No money shall be transferred to this fund, but charges <br />may be made against it as supplies are purchased; and whenever there is <br />accumulated in the fund an .amount in addition to what is ,necessary <br />for the immediate purchase of supplies and equipment, the balance shall <br />be turned into the general fund. <br /> <br />A resolution was presented directing the City Treasurer to set up an <br />I ngineer and B~ilding Inspector Revolving Fund to which shall be charged moneys <br />6xpended for supplies and necessary equipment for the making of blue prints and <br />' ~ny receipts resulting from the making of them shall be credited into this fund. <br />38~he resolution was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Eugene has the only blue printing machine <br />in the city and this machine is operated through the Engigeer and <br />Building Inspector Department of the City Government and is the only place <br />tha t blue prints can be made in the city and various personsromake <br />applica~ion to the office for the making of maps and blue prints <br />requiring materials that exhaust the regular budget of this department, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Therefore, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Treasurer be and he is hereby directed <br />to set up an Engineer and Building Inspector Revolving Fund to which shall <br />be charged moneys expended for supplies and necessary equipment for the <br />making of blue prints and any receipts resulting from the making of <br />them shall be, credited into this fund. No money shall be transferred to <br />this fund but_~harges may be made against it as the supplies are <br />purchased; and whenever there is accumulated in the fund an amount in <br />addition to what is necessary for the immeidate purchase of necessary <br />supplies and equipment, the balance shall be turned into the general <br />fund. <br /> <br />A resolution was presented authorizing the City Treasurer to take from <br />~he District' Improvement Fund the sum of $:$5..,5'9 and refund the same to the Union <br />0entral Life Insurance Company to account for an erroneous assessment against <br />39 &ertain properties.
