Clubb, City Engineer <br /> <br />IN THE N~TTER OF ~rlE OPENING AND <br />EXTENSION OF VAN BUP~N STREET <br />FROM THE SOUTH LIllli OF THIRTEENTH <br />AVENUE WESr TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE <br />LANE COUNTY 1!'AIRGROUNDS IN EUGENE, <br />LANE, COUNTY, OREGON, <br /> <br />) <br />) <br />) ; <br />) <br />) <br />) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VIEWERS <br /> <br />To the Mayor and Common Council <br />of the City of Eugene: <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />We, the undersigned, duly appointed by Ordinance No. 8640 as <br />viewers to assess the benefits accruing to private property by reason of <br />the proposed opening of Van Buren Street from the South Line of <br />Thirteenth Avenue West to the North line of the Lane County Fairgrounds in <br />Eugene, Oregon, most respectfully report: <br /> <br />That at the time and place appointed by the Common Council for <br />the first meeting to-wit: The City Recorder's office in the City of <br />Eugene, on the 3rd day of June, 1940 at 10:00 o'clock a~m~ Three members of <br />the said board nmnely, Frank Cashman, W. R. Robertson, and Larry Watson <br />met and took the oath of' office. <br /> <br />The members of the board at this time reported that they had at <br />previous times since having been notified of their appointment had made a <br />personal study of the property herein listed and they now report after <br />having carefully considered damages and benefits accruing to said property <br />by reason of extension of said avenue and having therefore assessed the damag s <br />that will accrue to the lands and the persons hereinafter named and described <br />and having assessed all special benefits that will accrue to private <br />property in the vicinity of the said proposed opening by reason of the <br />opening of said street, the lands being hereinafter described are as follows; <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />LANTIS WHICH ARE TAKEN BY THE EXTENSION OF SAID SrrREET <br />o <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NM'[E OF OVf.NER <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />, AMOUNT <br /> <br />w.
