Key, widow of James W. Key; Mary E. Scott, formerly <br />Mary E. Key, daughter of James W. Key; and Leo E. Scott, husband of Mary E. Key, <br />parties of the second part, <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />That, Whereas, the City of Eugene has and is operating in the immediate <br />vicinity of the lands hereinafter described, a power house and tailrace being a <br />part of the city's utility system and the property so owned and operated by <br />the City adjoins property, the legal title of which rests in Lulu L. Key,widow of <br />James W. Key; Mary E. Scott, formerly Mary E. Key, daughter of James W. Key; and <br />Leo E. Scott, husband of Nmry E. Key, and the parties to this agreement and convey- <br />ance desire to adjust the boundary line between their properties in such a manner <br />that the city shall acquire all of the property belonging to the second parties <br />lying north and west of the boundary line hereinafter described in so far as such <br />land lies north of the county road and in re-establishing such boundary line it is <br />desired by the parties that the city shall convey a certain small tract of land lyin <br />south of the boundary line hereinafter described. <br /> <br />It is therefore agreed between the parties hereto, in consideration of the <br />conveyances~ one to the other, and ~he payment by the City to the second parties of <br />the sum of ~282.65, as follows: <br /> <br />The City of Eugene, a municipal corporation, hereby grants, sells and <br />conveys unto Lulu L. Key, widow of James W. Key; Mary E. Scott, formerly Mary E. <br />Key, daughter of James W. Key; and Leo E. Scott, husband of ~~ry E. Key, the <br />following described tract of land, to-wit: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Beginning at a point 545.52 feet south and 104.68 feet <br />west of the quarter corner between Sections 20 and 29, of Township <br />17 South, Range 1 West of Willamette Meridian, said point being <br />the Northwest corner of a tract described in Vol. 197, page 360 of <br />Lane County Deed Records, and being marked by an iron rail, and <br />running thence VJesterly along the Southerly boundary of the property <br />of the City of Eugene two courses as follows: <br /> <br />o <br />South 71 00' West 42.2 feet <br /> <br />thence <br /> <br />North 720 00' West <br /> <br />17.2 feet <br /> <br />thence <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />North 810 32' East 56.9 feet <br />to t to the place of beginning, containing 0.005 acres, all in Lane County, Oregon <br /> <br />and Lulu L. Key, widow of James W. Key; Mary E. Scott, formerly Mary E. Key, <br />daughter of James W. Key; and Leo E. Scott, husband of Mary E.
