C. Clubb, and it was their <br /> opinion that the Fire Department could get by this year by paving enough to tak~ . <br /> care of the furnace and fuel storage. Councilman Hanns pointed out that to complete <br /> the job now would take only an additional $?5 material and Councilman Carlson stated <br /> that the Street Department would furnish equipment and labor to pave the whole <br />23.1. thing. Motion was made and seconded to draw upon the emergency fund for the purpose <br /> of buying sufficient material to pave" the entire room, and it was so ordered. <br /> Becuase of the recent absence of Councilman Stewart, Councilman Barette made <br /> thereport"on behalf of the Health Committee stating that a number' of 'calls had <br /> been. received concerning tne promiscuous parking of trailer houses for various <br /> lengt'h.s at a time. Mayor Large suggested that maybe this could be controlled by <br /> requiring a license. After short discussion the matter was left in the hands of the I <br />24 'ifHeal th Committee. <br /> Oommunication was presented from the Board of Appeals presenting a request <br /> from A. P. Miller to erect a service station on the southeast corner of 11th and <br />25' ~erry Streets. The Board recommends that this Tequest be denied and motion was <br /> kade and seconded unanimously approving the recommendation. <br /> I Request was received from Joe Akin to e'rect a duplex residence ~t 1432 Moss <br /> ptreet which is in the Single-Family zone. The building to be stmilar to the one <br /> ~uilt by Hargreaves at 534 East 15th Avenue. The Board of Appeals recommends that <br />26~ fhis request be denied and motion was made and 'seconded unanimously approving 'the <br /> Ire c ommend at ion of the Board. ' <br /> I Request was received from Ford-Nelson ~ill Company to erect their Ford's : <br /> Kozy Kabins within the City limits. The foundations, girders, joist, floorlining, <br /> ~afters, sheeting, shingles, etc. to be in accordance with the ordinance of said <br /> Icity and the walls and partitions to be of their patented type and all to be under <br /> Ithe "direction of the city Building Irispe'ctor.
