C. Haag & Company on their gutter-snip~ street sweeper at a price <br /> of $4290.00 <br /> The Howard-Cooper Corporation on two models of Elgin sweepers, <br /> Model 20 at $7975.00 and their Elgin, Jr. at $6146.15. <br /> Eugene Hardware Company for the Austin-Western Patrol Sweeper at $4685.00j <br /> @ouncilman Reid made a motion to accept the offer of A. C. Haag and Company on the <br /> fuasis of a 30-day trial period. Councilman Hro~~son questioned ~he advisibility of <br /> this,saying he had made a thorough study of the Austin-Western and Elgin Sweepers <br /> ~nd would recommend the purchase of the Elgin Jr. On behalf of Councilman Carlson, <br /> €hairman of the Street Cooonittee, he also wished to report that Councilman Carlson <br /> ~ecommended the purchase of the Elgin Jr. Councilman Reid again spoke in behalf or <br /> jhe purchase of the Haag & Company machine.
