'--~'._--- - - ~-- _..- <br />------------.-.-- <br /> <br />----....:.----~---=- ~--.:.....-------- -~ ~-~:......=~"~-:..;..;::::-::;;.-:;;...:::- ~~-~~=--=-~~.~---.:.-":-::.--.:~.:=---::--=-~=-......:=-~~-=---=.:-=::_-=:::.~~~~::.-:_--;;:-::-:-~----:::::::::--~_-::...:::- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City <br />of Eugene that there is hereby transmitted to the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Eugene a proposal to extend the <br />boundary line of the light industrial district extending <br />westerly in the alley between 4th and 5th Avenues, on <br />westerly to the center of Jefferson Street, and thence <br />north in such a manner as to embrace all of Block 1, Harris <br />Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon thus changing the <br />area from a single family residence distriat to a light <br />industrial district. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />And directing the Planning Commission to adopt a <br />tentative report; 'and to hold a hearing thereon in the <br />Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Eugene, <br />on Tuesday, the 22nd day of April, 1941, at 7:30 o'clock <br />p;_m., after giving due notice by publication once in the <br />Eugene Register Guard, and they shall thereafter make a final <br />report and transmit the same to the Council with their <br />recornrnendation. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Councilman Farrington, seconded by Councilman Pennington, <br />John Fields, present Deputy-Recorder, was appointed pity Recorder Pro-Tem to act <br />in the absence of Recorder C. M. Bryan from April 11, 1941 to April 11, 1942 <br />on account of Mr. Bryan being called into the army for a one year's active duty. <br />The salary for the work to be the same as that drawn by Mr. Bryan. This is in <br />61 compliance with Section 42 on Page 11 of the City Charter. <br /> <br />Upon motion made and seconded the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />Pro-Tem <br /> <br />Note: <br /> <br />A copy of these minutes was mailed to Mayor Elisha Large, City Attorney <br />S.
