'--~'._--- - - ~-- _..- ------------.-.-- ----....:.----~---=- ~--.:.....-------- -~ ~-~:......=~"~-:..;..;::::-::;;.-:;;...:::- ~~-~~=--=-~~.~---.:.-":-::.--.:~.:=---::--=-~=-......:=-~~-=---=.:-=::_-=:::.~~~~::.-:_--;;:-::-:-~----:::::::::--~_-::...:::- RES 0 L UTI 0 N I BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that there is hereby transmitted to the Planning Commission of the City of Eugene a proposal to extend the boundary line of the light industrial district extending westerly in the alley between 4th and 5th Avenues, on westerly to the center of Jefferson Street, and thence north in such a manner as to embrace all of Block 1, Harris Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon thus changing the area from a single family residence distriat to a light industrial district. I And directing the Planning Commission to adopt a tentative report; 'and to hold a hearing thereon in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Eugene, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of April, 1941, at 7:30 o'clock p;_m., after giving due notice by publication once in the Eugene Register Guard, and they shall thereafter make a final report and transmit the same to the Council with their recornrnendation. Upon motion of Councilman Farrington, seconded by Councilman Pennington, John Fields, present Deputy-Recorder, was appointed pity Recorder Pro-Tem to act in the absence of Recorder C. M. Bryan from April 11, 1941 to April 11, 1942 on account of Mr. Bryan being called into the army for a one year's active duty. The salary for the work to be the same as that drawn by Mr. Bryan. This is in 61 compliance with Section 42 on Page 11 of the City Charter. Upon motion made and seconded the meeting was adjourned.
