<br />And, vVHEREAS, the grade or grades and el evations to which the proposed
<br />improvement will be made are indicated upon the maps and plans prepared
<br />for the proposed improvement which are on file in the office of the
<br />Oregon State Highway Cornmission, at Salem, Oregon, copies of vihich have
<br />been submitted to the city for its record and for its approval, said grades::,

<br />Description of Center line grade: BeginninG at elevation 409.72 at
<br />the intersection of the center line of \'iest 7th Avenue with the west ci ty
<br />limits of Eugene; thence to elevation 410.16 at the intersection of the
<br />center line of West 7th Avenue and Filmore Street; thence to elevation
<br />410.80 at the intersections of the center line of West 7th Avenue
<br />and Almaden Street; thence to elevation 411.43 at the intersection
<br />of the cent er 1 ine of \'[est 7th Avenue and Tay lor Street; thence
<br />to elevation 412.07 at the intersection of the center line of West 7th
<br />Avenue and Polk Street.

<br />And, VffiEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 88, Oregon Laws 1931 and
<br />Chapter 529, Oregon La~s 1939, it ~s reQuired that as a condition
<br />precedent to the change of the grade of any such street by the
<br />Commission, such grad.e change shall be consented to by the city.

<br />N6W THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
<br />Ci ty of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, tha t the grades established by
<br />The State Highway Commission for the proposed improvement of the street
<br />or streets, or avenues, or roads, as described herein and which are trav-
<br />ersed by State Hi[,hway NO..l of the State of OrE::gon, knoVJn as the
<br />Pacific Highway, the plans for which proposed improvement are on file in
<br />the office of the State Highway Conmlission as Salem, Oregon, and a
<br />cllipy or copies of which are on file in the records of the city,
<br />said grades beinG as follows, to wit:

<br />Passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane County,
<br />Oregon, this 5th day of May, 1941.

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the CoronIon Council does hereby agree,
<br />within its lawful authority but without financial obligation or
<br />liability, to cooperate with and aid the State Highway Commission in the
<br />accomplishment of such street constructioh, reconstruction, improvement,
<br />repa' , and/or maintenance.
