These bids were referred to the <br /> tl Street Committee with the power to act. <br /> The new Fire truck purchased from the American LaFrance Foamite Corporatio <br /> having arrived and a letter from the Oregon Insurance Rating Bureau signed by Mr. <br /> White together with his report of the operation of the truck was read. The contrac <br /> price of the truck as entered into was $9800.00 less 3% which made a net of $9506.0 . <br /> The contract provided that a payment of $6000.00 be made within thirty days after I <br /> date of the invoice. The fire truck as delivered was not complete in that the <br /> ladders had not arrived and there were some other small adjustments to make. A <br /> motion was made by Pennington and seconded by Bond that the fire truck be accepted <br /> with the understanding that these other parts are to be furhished add that the <br /> 52 payment of $6000.00 be made at this time. Motion was carried. <br /> The Mayor stated that he had numerous complaints regarding missing street <br /> signs and it was pointed out that these street signs had been ordered a considerabl <br /> time ago.
