<br />I and carried that the resolution be adopted:

<br />I BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the. City of
<br />i Eugene, that the Recorder be and he is hereby directed
<br />! to deliver to John Quiner, State Industrial Accident
<br />25 Comm~ssion, check No. L-38901 for $63.17 and to write
<br />a city warrna t f,or the remainder of his November pay,
<br />making up his full pay for the month of November.

<br />At this time Councilman Farrington, Chariman of the Committee
<br />appointed by Mayor Large to report on the matter of a change in the form of
<br />City Government, stated that they had a typewritten report and asked that this
<br />i be read at this time by the Recorder. The report, some seven. typewritten
<br />.1 pages, was read in detail and it was the recommendation of the committee that
<br />26 i the charter be changed, at the primary election to be held in 1944, to allow
<br />I for a City Superintendant to be appointed by the Council. Councilman Davis
<br />, suggested that no action be taken at this time. A motion was made,bYflHawn,
<br />seconded by Barette and carried that a vote of thanks should be given the
<br />Committee for their study of this system and that the committees recommendation
<br />should be accepted by the Council.
