This hose is net PreWar hose but is censtructed with equivalent strength and has same number .of cords and same weave as prewar and is the equivalent .of pre- war hose in every way. This hese is known as the Howard Ceoper Special and was made when the W.P.B. regulations permitted the use of 7 peunds .of natural crude rubber in the lining of. the fire hese. Whereas present regulations, in effect since December :4th, 1943 limit the amo~nt .of natural rubber in two and one-half inch fire hose to t\. .0 and eight-tenths peunds. I This hose represents the highest qualfty that' waspermissable at the time of its manu'acture. Couplings are made of malleable iren with brass swivels. We 'are pleased to offer yeua price of 80 cents per foot for the-un- treated hese and 84 cents per foot for the wax and gumhydroseal treated"hese.
