<br /> II who in their absence, has, outside of the realm of Civil Service, now been

<br /> , the certain recollections of similas sycophancy in the Department in the

<br /> Ii past, had prior to my reinstatement by yourselves, caused me to accept a

<br /> II the vacuous incomprehensiblaties of the executive aspect of the Department.
<br /> This, then Gentlemen, is in effect, my resignation from my reinstated status
<br /> II &n the staff of the Eugene Fire Department and I respectfully request that

<br /> " Kincaid, Harris and Potter streets, between 25th and 30th, Attorney Calkins
<br /> 'i explained that since the cost of constructing the sewer against the lots owned

<br /> 31 !: by the City would be in excess of the amount that could be bonded-there was
<br /> I: no provision made for taking care. of this amount. Mr. Calkins explained that
<br /> it wa~apermissable to transfer from the General Fund to the District Improve-
<br /> I: ment fund to pay this excess cost but that the amount could be borrowed from
<br /> I I: the General Fund with the provision to be in the next budget for the return
<br /> i;
<br /> II to the General Fund.
