Gilbert, $1,150.00 for lots <br />15 and 16 in block 3 of Teshners Addition. (north side 19th, 55.02 feet west <br />of Pearl Street). Appraisal #15, 600.00 #16; 550.00 <br />Withholding this property pending determination of traffic routes at High <br />street site. <br /> <br />H. C. Fox offers $175.00 for either lot 11, 12, Or 13 in block 24 of First <br />Addition to City outlook. Harner offers $900.00 for <br />block 19 Fairmount Addition. <br />Appraisal: $900.00 <br />Accepted <br /> <br />It was moved by Johnson and seconded by Crumbaker that the report be adopted. <br />Motion. carried. <br /> <br />south 75 feet of each 100 feet of lot 3 in <br />o <br /> <br />The Judiciary COmDlittee presented the following report: <br /> <br />We recommend that the duties of Municipal Judge be removed from the <br />office of Recorder and that a regularly constituted Municipal Court be establi- <br />shed. We further recommend that Municipal Court sessions be held three times <br />weekly; the days and hours to be set by the court. We further recommend that <br />the Council appoint Attorney Stanley R. Darling as municipal judge and that a <br />fee of $100.00 per month be paid for his services until July 1, 1945 when the <br />fee will be subject to review depending upon the amount of work and number of <br />hours necessary for court hearings. We further recommend that the matter in- <br />volving court records, handling of fines, etc. be referred to the Judge and <br />City manager. ' <br /> <br />It was moved by Bailey and seconded by Hawn that the report of the committee be <br />adopted. Motion was carried. <br /> <br />The Parks Committee submitted the following report: <br /> <br />{I)-That the following described properties now owned by the City be dedicated <br />for Park-Playground purposes: <br />a- property bounded BY Washington & Lawrence streets between 19th and 21st <br />avenue. <br />b- property bounded QY Potter and University streets, between 23rd and 24tH <br />with the exception of lots 8 and 13 now privately owned. <br />(2)-We further recommend that investigation be made relative to purchase of the <br />two above mentioned lots in order that the entire block may be secured for <br />Park purpos~a. , <br />(3)-We further recommend that City owned property on first aven~e west of Blai~ <br />Blvd, between D and E street be reserved for Playground pnnposes until sucn <br />time as further industrial developments may require the sale of this prop- <br />etty. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />It was moved by Crumbaker and seconded by Bailey that the report be adopted. <br />Motion was carried. <br />
