I: Motion by Hawn, seconded by Davis that the setback be waived ,to 5i feet :; because the area is in a commercial zone. Motion carried. 'I I u: I, ;, - .- ----~ -----,---. -- I 68 , h I I, I' , ". j I I: f, I \, I, I I" I I -. .. - -- - -------.---- ----------- ~ ~ ,~ ;1 I: It ,: {! .1 II rl I il In the matter of desecration of property at the TEMPLE BETH ISRAEL, as reported by the Police Department, the following motion was offered by Davis, and seconded by Hawn, that this Common Council go on record as requesting the Police Authority of Eugene to extend every possible effort and to call upon all enforcement agencies of this area'to the end that the party or parties guilty of-this disgraceful and un-American act be apprehended and punished; that a re~ard of $100.00 be paid by the Eugene Police for information leading to arrest.and conviction of the guilty person or persons, provided that such an expenditure can be legally appropriated from emergency funds held by the City.
