Ellis of 212 Pearl st. who had made a previous request to the <br />!' Board for a permit to convert his residence at the above address into six apart- <br />ments, appeared before the Board with plans for the proposed changes. The Board <br />recommends that the request be granted on condition provision be made for off <br />il street pa rking. <br />A request was received from Fred O. Schleck asking for a permit to build a <br />:: barber shop on a portion of Lot 6, Block 11, Henderson's Addition, located the <br />:.northeast corner of the intersection of Alder Street and Thirteenth Avenues. The <br />:; parcel of lot is 18 feet by 32 feet and his proposed building would be 18 feet by <br />!i 30 feet, to be built to the property line on Alder street. This property is in an I <br />i: apartment zone, bu t already surrounded by business bUildings. The Board recommends i <br />; that the request be granted on condition he comply with all requirements of the I <br />[: Building Code. <br />i' A request was received from L. W. Li12enguist asking for a permit to erect ! <br />: 8 frame and stucco building for a truck garage and repa ir shop on Franklin Boulevard; <br />I;just north of the Mill Race. The Board recommends that the request be granted on I <br />condition he comply with the Building Code. I <br />A reques,t was received from Donald R. Husband, attorney for J. A. Morgan and I <br />Carrol Kennedy asking for a permit for a building to be erected north of the M. .& K. 'I <br />!,Market, corner of Eleventh and Chambers, for the Daintee Brand Products Co. This <br />;: firm is now located at 260 Fe:r,ry Street and is. a manUfacturing and wholesale concern. <br />ilThe Board is recommending that this request be denied. I <br />John Stuckey has made a request for a permit to build an addition' to the I <br />Service Station at the northwest corner of the intersection of Eighth and Blair Sts. I <br />The plans submitted with the request indicate that the addition would be placed I' <br />within 11 feet and 10 inches of the sidewalk on Eighth Street. The Board is recom- <br />mending that this request be denied. <br />:A request was received from Mrs. Alonzo Chapman, 2657 Alder Street, asking <br />~for a pe rmi t to build a six foot a ddi ti on on the front of her house which would <br /> <br />['exceed the setback by two fee.
