Chambers Street to Garfield Street in the City of Eugene is opened and es- . tablished. . - ~ I Be it further resolved by the Common Council that the City Engineer I I be and he is hereby directed to prepare and deliver ~~ the Recorder an accurate I plat of said str,eet and of the property so appropriated for public use and the I City Recorder be and he is hereby directed to file said plat for recprd with the I County Clerk of Lane County, Oregon, together with a copy of this resolution and the County Clerk shall thereupon cause the same to be recorded in the deed' I records of his office." I I I~ was moved by Bailey, seconded by Hawn, that the resolution be adopted. I ! Motion carried. 46 A resolution -- Re: Payment of damages opening 8th Avenue West, was j submitted and read. "WHEREAS, Heretofore in the matter of the opening of 8th Avenue West' I from Chambers Street to Garfield Street in the City of Eugene, the Common Council has passed a resolution directing the Recorder to enter in the Docket of Oity Liens the various liens arrived at from the ordinance adopting the report of the Board of Viewers. I Now at this time, I BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that the I Recorder be and he is ~ereby directed to draw warrants on the Treasurer, payable out of the General Fund for the amount of excess damages or excess of damages and costs assessed, and in favor of the owner or owners, or other persons in interest." I It was moved by Bailey, seconded by Hawn that the resolution be adopted. I t i Motion carried. I 47 A resolution -- He: ~ayment of damages'opening of alley between 7th and 8th Avenues West, was submitted. "WHEREAS, Heretofore in the matter of the opening of the alley between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue West from the West line of Hallock Addition to Garfield Street in the City of Eugene, the Common Council has passed a resolution direc- : ting the recorder to enter in the Docket of City Liens the varfous liens arrived at from the ordinance adopting the report of the Board of Viewers. Now at this time, , BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that the Recorder be and he is hereby directed to draw warrants on the Treasurer payable out of the General Fund for the amount of excess damages or excess of damages i and costs assessed, and in favor of the owner or owners, or other persons in interest." It was moved by Bailey, seconded by Koppe that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. ' 48 A resolution -- Re: Recording of plat opening of alley between 7th and 8th Avenues West, was submitted and read. I "The Common Council having heretofore directed the issuance of I Warrants payable to the persons entitled, in the matter of the opening of the , alley .between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue West from the West line of Hallock I Addition to Garfield Street in the City of Eugene, and I Now at this time, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that I warrants having been drawn and ready for delivery to the parties entitled to the same, the Common Council does hereby declare that the alley between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue West from the West line of Hallock Addition to Garfield Street in the City of Eugene is opened and established. .,;..- -! ~~ l I
